Land Acknowledgement:
We gratefully acknowledge that the land we now occupy is the ancestral homeland of the Tiwa people, also known as Tigua, a group of Tanoan Pueblo peoples. We also recognize and respectfully honor the 23 federally recognized Tribal Nations in what is now called the State of New Mexico, including the 19 Pueblos, three Apache Nations, and the Navajo Nation, whose cultures, traditions, and stewardship of this land continue today.
