Our Distribution Model

Designing Nature’s Half is currently in development.

When published, Designing Nature’s Half will circulate through a diversified distribution stack designed

for long-term flexibility, institutional credibility, and broad access.

Our Distribution Model Objectives

  • Support conservation organizations

  • Ensure institutional credibility

  • Reinforce independent bookselling ecosystems

  • Maintain author-owned ISBNs

  • Avoid exclusivity agreements

  • Preserve long-term distribution flexibility

Anticipated Distribution Stack

  1. Print: Trade & Institutional Backbone

Print trade distribution will be supported through IngramSpark, enabling wholesale availability to bookstores, libraries, and academic retailers.

2. Independent Retail

Consumer purchases will be accessible through Bookshop.org, supporting independent booksellers while offering direct checkout.

3. Direct & Organizational Orders

Website ecommerce will integrate with Bookvault for direct shipping, bulk pricing, invoicing, and event orders.

4. Ebook: Wide, Non-Exclusive Availability

Ebook distribution will be managed through Draft2Digital, enabling wide placement across major non-Amazon retailers and library platforms.

This architecture will preserve broad access while avoiding centralized marketplace dependency.
